After moving to New York with my degree in Bacteriology and Parasitology Chemistry (QBP), I faced the challenge of navigating a new academic system. I had to validate my degree, transfer credits, and retake demanding science courses—all in English, my second language.

Along the way, I realized that traditional textbooks often made studying more complicated than it needed to be. They were packed with dense information, making it difficult to identify what truly mattered for exams.

I started creating my own simplified notes and quick flashcards to break down complex concepts, focus on the essentials, and study more efficiently. These tools helped me navigate the process and maintain strong grades. Now, through Pass The Lab, I want to make studying science simpler, clearer, and less overwhelming for others.
